Graphic novel – the only literature your 10-year old will recognize as purchase-worthy.



Mag-a-tween – The Tiger Beat initiation into magazine subscriptions for years to come.



Book Mark – the rectangular, dust-free oasis under the book that’s been abandoned for something with a screen.



Comic Book – ironically, neither.



Page-turner – Your job, along with silly voices, from birth to age five.



Con-tens – the fourth and fifth grade “my parents aren’t smart enough to figure it out” syndrome.
